What Carpet, Tile, and Upholstery Cleaning Costs in Jupiter

I am Jonathan, and I have owned Superclean Services for 27 years. People ask what this costs before they ask anything else, so I will answer that first and then tell you what you are actually paying for, because the second part is the part that matters.

Ranges are for standard service on standard condition. If we show up and there are four dogs and years of accidents, that is a different conversation, and you will hear the number before I start, not after. Weekend residential work carries a $500 minimum. Commercial is quoted per square foot and comes down as the space gets bigger.

I started in 1999 at twenty years old with a $500 pressure washer from Sam's Club and my dad telling me to go figure it out. I read the directions, did his driveway, and the neighbor asked what I would charge for her house. I said $500 without looking at it. That first year I made a hundred grand and dropped out of college.

I grew that first company to thirty employees, which I hated, sold it, and moved down here to rebuild it small on purpose. Now it is me and DJ. That is the whole company, and that is the point.

What you are actually paying for

Here is the part most people never get told. We put down an introduction solution, then we neutralize it with proper extraction and proper technique. That neutralizing step is the one that gets skipped, and skipping it is why a carpet cleaned in the spring looks dirty again by summer. Residue left in the fiber attracts soil. Cut that corner and you are not cleaning a carpet, you are scheduling the next cleaning.

We use consumer-friendly chemicals from New Line, made here in Florida. I am not out back mixing a secret sauce nobody has heard of. I am spraying this in a room I am standing in, so I care what is in it, and I will hand you the label and leave some behind if you want it.

I am IICRC-certified, which stands for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, in carpet cleaning, hard surface restoration, water restoration, and several other categories. DJ is certified in carpet cleaning. Anyone new trains with the two of us before running a job alone.

Why the number moves

1. Size. Residential carpet is priced per room. Tile and commercial carpet are per square foot, because that is how those jobs actually scale.
2. Whether the cushions come off. On upholstery this is the whole thing. If the cushions lift out, I clean the top and the underside. If they are sewn down, there is less to reach, and the rate drops.
3. Condition. Standard soil is standard pricing. Years of pet accidents or heavy staining are not standard, and I will say so on the spot rather than pretend and surprise you later.
4. Commercial square footage. The per-foot rate drops meaningfully past 50,000 square feet. Bigger buildings cost less per foot because setup time spreads across more work.
5. Weekends. Residential weekend work carries a $500 minimum. You can call any hour of any day to get on the schedule.

What you will not find here

No coupons. No twenty percent off, no buy one get one. Those attract people shopping on price alone, and price shopping is how you end up with somebody who rushes your carpet and leaves.

And no piecemealing. The most common complaint in this business is the price moving once somebody is already in your house. That spot is another ten dollars, the stairs are extra, the hallway counts as a room. We build the price up front and that is the price. DJ will walk in the door and the same number comes out of his mouth that came out of mine on the phone.

Tile is not the side service

The branding says carpet cleaning, and carpet is half of what we do. But this is Florida, and honestly we do more tile than carpet. Most homes down here are tile through the main living space, and grout is porous, so it holds everything that ever got mopped into it.

If your grout lines have gone from light gray to dark gray over a few years, they are not stained, they are dirty. There is usually a lot more color under there than people expect.

What people say after we leave

That first one happens more than you would think. I try to keep my schedule clear after one o'clock, so when somebody calls at noon because their cleaner never showed and their furniture is already moved, I can usually be there by three. We try to be Johnny on the spot about it.

How often you actually need this

Less often than most companies will tell you. We are not going to call you in six months, and there is nothing to sign up for.

Because we pull the residue out properly, our carpets stay clean longer. Most households without a particular problem I see about once every year and a half to two years. Seasonal residents who want everything right when they arrive, once a year. Dogs, about every six months. We go on your schedule, not a subscription.
